Mr. Jose A. Marquez

Salutations, my name is Jose Angel Marquez. I was born in El Paso, TX on December 23rd, 1967. I was raised in the Lower Valley in El Paso, now called Mission Valley. I attended Riverside Elementary, Riverside Middle School, and graduated from Riverside High School in 1986. In February of 1987, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy where I served 4 years of active duty. In 1992, I enrolled at El Paso Community College where I graduated with an associates degree in psychology, while still serving in The U.S. Navy Reserve. I then tranfered to the University at Texas of El Paso (UTEP) where I received a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Spanish on May 15, 1998. I returned back to UTEP where I received my endorsement in Special Education. I have taught the Practical Lifeskills Class (PLC), The Behavior Intervention Class (BIC), and Academic Independent Management Class (AIM). I have been teaching for more than 12 years.
